 Directions to get to Rouen
Rouen is easy to get to from Brussels, London or Paris.
From St Lazare in Paris, you'll arrive at the Rouen Rive Droite station.
Students coming from the UK can either fly to Orly or Roissy/Charles de Gaulle airports or arrive via the Eurostar train.
The French airports offer a « Navette » service from the airports to the centre of Paris at Opéra. The cost is 8,40 € for the navette from Roissy to Opéra and 5,80 € from Orly to Denfert Rochereau and the bus goes every 15/20 minutes.
From Orly there is also an Air France service that goes every 15 minutes to Les Invalides which costs 8 €. From Les Invalides you should then take the metro, line 13 following the signs to GABRIEL PERI /ST DENIS and get off at ST LAZARE station. A metro ticket is 1,40 € and a book of 10 tickets is 10,90 €.
St Lazare is one metro stop from Opéra on the line « Direction Pont de Lavallois, Line 3 » but a taxi is quick and inexpensive if you have a lot of luggage (It is about 15 minutesEwalk from Opéra to St Lazare). A metro ticket is 1.40 €.
The Eurostar arrives at the Gare du Nord and we recommend a taxi between the two stations as the easiest and quickest journey.
Alternatively, we can arrange a transfer from your point of entry. Please ask us for a personal quotation.
At the airport
When you come out of the Customs hall look for a driver carrying a signboard with our logo and your name on it.
In the unlikely event of you not being able to find your driver : Go to the airport information desk and ask the staff either in English to page the driver (or in French « Le chauffeur French in Normandy est prié de venir chercher Monsieur / Madame... »)(then say your name).
1 - From Paris by train
Students will need to take the « navette » or airport bus to PARIS either to OPERA. Or Denfert-Rochereau. The bus costs 8.40 € and go every 15 minutes.
