Course Description

The language development programmes use a communicative approach, with students encouraged and assisted to utilise the language they have learnt. This includes all facets of the French language. Individual, couple, and group work, conversations, debates, roleplays, presentations, and writing exercises are all part of the classwork.

The afternoon CLIL module equips learners with the techniques, skills, activities, and language needed to teach CLIL sessions in French while also addressing the obstacles of learning via topic and cultural content.

This practical, hands-on, participatory training combines lecture style with hands-on activities. Through lesson preparation, seminars, and presentations, participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own practise, investigate alternative approaches, and try out a range of classroom activities. To supplement the curriculum, creative approaches to themes and out-of-classroom activities will be considered for topic-based and project-based learning.
