Course Description

French in Normandy has partnered with Campus France and l’Ecole Fauchon to offer an exclusive 3-week French + Gastronomy program which combines French language instruction, cultural discoveries and workshops in the field of hospitality and workshops in the hotel and restaurant industry in the heart of Normandy. 

The French + Gastronomy program was designed for English-speaking international students who may be complete beginners in French and only a B2 level in English is required.

The partnership between Campus France, Fauchon and French in Normandy combines the best of French gastronomy with the reputation of our school with the FLE Quality label.

In addition, the city of Rouen adds an exceptional touch to this program thanks to the wealth of cultural activities offered by the metropolis and the region.

The heart of impressionism, Rouen is one of the French cities with the most historical monuments per square meter and offers students an authentic destination rich in discoveries.

At Fauchon students will discover the jobs of great chefs, pastry chefs, chocolatiers. They will meet cheese producers, market gardeners, fishmongers, sommeliers. They will also have the opportunity to discover the hospitality sector by visiting prestigious establishments. These enriching encounters and experiences will be of interest to both those seeking to better prepare their professional career in this sector as well as those who would like to discover this exciting field. At the same time, students will learn French – or improve – thanks to courses given by French in Normandy which will also allow them to discover French culture.

All gastronomy workshops hosted by Fauchon are provided in English.
