Course Description

ERASMUS+ Teaching French using drama and theatre techniques for enhanced communication

For Teachers and Educational Staff using French as a Foreign Language

This workshop will assist participants gain confidence in their ability to teach an oral French language course utilising new technologies to facilitate work on students’ oral expression and exchanging ideas about best-practice approaches with colleagues from throughout Europe. It is also intended to improve participants’ teaching abilities as well as the outcomes of their students.

Preparation

Pre-course Preparative Modalities:

  • To be familiar with communication strategies as described by the European common framework of reference for languages and the criteria for the D.E.L.F.’s numerous tests
  • To be willing to try out new teaching approaches.
  • must be flexible and adaptable

Practical Arrangements

Intra-Course Modalities offered by the Course Provider:

  • Tutor for the course
  • Learning tools that are pedagogically sound
  • Learning goals are established.
  • Ongoing examination and evaluation, including progress feedback
  • Advice and guidance on homework assignments
  • Accommodation and spiritual care services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Every day, there is an optional supplementary language workshop.
  • Tour of the city and a welcoming activity
  • Students have access to the school library and media centre.
